Hi, I’m Todd Sumner, owner of Sumner Electric. I’ve been in the electrical industry for 19 years, with a background in commercial work going all the way back to 2006. I started my own business because I wanted more control—over my time, the jobs I take, and the kind of service I give to people. I enjoy what I do, and I take pride in doing it right.

One of the best parts of my job is meeting new people in our community. Whether I’m troubleshooting a tricky wiring issue or installing something new, I always take the time to do the work cleanly and carefully. I try to leave as little behind for you to deal with as possible. I believe in keeping my word, showing up when I say I will, and following up if needed. You’ll never hear me promise something I can’t do.

I focus on personalized service. That means you’ll hear from me often during a job—I’ll keep you in the loop, give clear ETAs, and make sure we’re on the same page. I’m clean-cut, professional, and take pride in being someone you feel comfortable having in your home or business.

Outside of work, I’m a family guy. I’ve got two kids—one in baseball and one in cheer—and you’ll usually find me at their events when I’m not working. I also make time to work out and stay active. Keeping a healthy work-life balance is important to me.
